Management Mule Deer Hunts
WHC has several properties that are managed for better trophy potential and older age class. In order to do that we need to make sure to clean up the trash on an annual basis, offering a great, successful, western hunting experience while still getting to see and hunt great mule deer bucks just for fraction of the price of the Trophy Hunt. We still try to focus only on taking 5+ year old mature bucks, or ones that may be showing more dominance. Our goal for this type of hunt is to be harvesting inferior genetical bucks throughout the breeding season, such as larger framed 2x3, 3x3, 3x4, or even degraded 4x4’s. Management Bucks are not meant for scoring but rather for their unique character. however they will typically score between 100 - 145+. It's not uncommon to see anywhere from 6 - 20+ mule deer bucks in a single day, action packed hunt, to help fill the freezer.
