Our Story

Western Hunt Company is a Montana based outfitting business that specializes in western big game hunting and wing shooting adventures. 

What gets your heart racing? Weather it's the bugle of a bull elk pushing his cows up a distant ridge, a mule deer buck lip curling hot on a doe, the brush exploding beneath your feet as a rooster takes to the sky, or a beautiful rainbow trout smashing a top water dry fly on one of Montana’s many rivers.

There are 147,040 square miles in Montana. Every year the WHC sets out on a mission to search out some of the best places to find those special places to hunt that buck or bull of a lifetime. Our goal once we have acquired a property is manage for longevity, and offer and share those places with our guests. Montana has an abundance of wildlife to offer, Rocky Mountain Elk, Mule Deer, White Tail, Antelope, Black Bear, if you are interested in it, let us help you get lined out on the Hunt of a Lifetime!

Through our partnerships with outfitters across the country and abroad we are able to offer hunts for almost every game animal that this continent has to offer. From Canadian Moose to Desert Mule Deer and everything in between.  

If you are like us you know that sweat stains will always wash out of your hat or clothes but those mountain memories that were made will last a lifetime! Western Hunt Co. was founded on patience and hard work pays off. We work hard for you in every aspect of the hunt. All of our guides are in the field year round scouting, glassing, improving the properties, working their dogs, clearing trails, setting up camp, hunting, fishing, the list goes on and on. We appreciate every minute that we get to spend in the great outdoors and the day that the fire goes out for us, it will be the day we hang it up. The good news is that we don't foresee that day coming anytime soon!
